When you hear of a homeless shelter a lot of the times you think scary things. People must be bad or strung out. Not at My Father's House. The staff there are amazing and encouraging. They give you the confidence to build yourself back up as they help with basic needs until you're ready. They give you the information and what you do with it is up to you and if you feel the problem is good for you or not the success of each person is how well they work and how well they want it to.

*** HIPPA VIOLATION WARNING *** This facility was referred to me by a family member of mine who has a business relationship is a staff member at My Father's House, Gresham. I didn't have an ROI for my family member, said staff member shared my personal & confidential information with my family member. Needless to say, I tried contacting members of staff to let them know about the violation... NO RESPONSE. I am in no way trying to get the place shut down.... I see that many people had wonderful experiences. I just can't not share my experience.... There's privacy practices for a reason. I am seeking legal advice. I pray that everyone sets their eyes on the Lord above. He truly is in control.
