I do not recommend this organization when seeking support for any form of violence you are facing as a woman in Yucca Valley and the surrounding area. Their organization is disorganized coupled with a lack of quality systematic partnerships to further advance process improvement/implementation for us survivors in need. The leader who helped me file the DV-RO (twice) did not follow-up in a timely manner and sent me out on my own to handle the circumstances. The Joshua Tree Courthouse has a well known reputation of denying DV-RO for most female survivors leaning into two organizations in this area (this one and Partners Against Violence). Upon further investigation, I have discovered there is no community action plan to improve or reduce active and serious crime intervention and prevention efforts. They claimed to have strong participation/partnerships with local law enforcement. That was not what I experienced or observed though this process. The leader who took my call of concern willingly admitted the last time we saw each other that he has no idea what gang stalking or trafficking operations are. Red flagged and escalated to governing agencies accordingly.
