Anna Zaichik provided excellent work preparing my income taxes. It was the second time Met Council prepared my income tax return. I brought the necessary paperwork to the Met Council office in Brooklyn to be copied. Ms. Zaichik then prepared the return (filed electronically) . All of the office staff were friendly. Thank you Met Council!

This group helped me when I most needed it and I am beyond grateful and thankful.

In august 24, 2020 i met a lady named petra by phone. She was very kind and very respectful lady. I went to pick up backpacks in august 24 2022 and there was a lady giving things. She was talking very nicely. And i told her that i wish i could meet a person, but i couldn't remember her name until i looked into my contacts and i said her name was petra. She said that she was petra. When i heard that i was so happy that i couldn't believe i could meet that person infront of me.

I am proud to be part of this vibrant organization as we perform critical work, serving the poor throughout metro NY. We provide free kosher food, low-income housing, and a full range of social services.

I went to met council seeking rent help; the person in charge of Crisis lifted my spirits, she made me feel like a human being. I experienced a lot of empatjy a d respect grom her. I left there knowing that there are still people who cares , without judging others.
