This place advertises as it they help people. I don't know who they help as the minute they sense you got your own opinion and they can't verbally abuse you, they'll just ban you. You'll be told you're getting in soon, but don't worry, you'll never get that call. Honestly, it's blessing in disguise that you won't. Read other people's reviews before contacting them. They are condescending and rude, most people who are running from abusers are vulnerable and they know that. This place is not much better than the abuser you run from, and their management is as fake as it comes. If you want support, this isn't it. If you want to be told whatever, and just need a place to sleep, you might have a chance here if you are as submissive as they come.

Dear Mary & Martha House Family and volunteers, I honestly don’t even know how to put into words what you’ve done for me and my daughter, but I’m going to try. When everyone else told me no, when we had nowhere to go, you guys said yes. You took us in when I was terrified and had no idea what was going to happen next. Because of Mary and Martha, my daughter had a safe place to sleep, food in her belly, and a bed to call her own. Because of you, she had a home, even when I wasn’t capable of giving her one at the time. Hope is happy here. She refers to this place as Home. That alone says everything. She is still the same joyful baby. You’ve helped us with so much with food, bills, daycare, my car, but the emotional support is what kept me going. You stood by me through court, listened to me for hours when I was spiraling, and never once made me feel like I was a burden. You were patient with me when I was broken and overwhelmed, and you loved us through all of it. This next step at Our Mother’s House is exciting and I’m incredibly grateful, but I want you to know: Mary & Martha House will always be the place that helped us stand again. You gave our little family so much, and you gave my daughter the chance to just be a kid, not a child of struggle or instability. I don’t have much in this world, but because of you Hope didn’t have to feel what it’s like to have nothing. That means more to me than I could ever say. I’m going to miss you all deeply. I’ll be back to visit, and I can’t wait for the day I get to walk in and say: “Me and Hope are stable. We made it!” Thank you for being our home when we needed one most. With all my love, Ray and Hope
