HippieVibes777 rated 5 2 months ago I have had nothing but the best care at Martin County Hospital.
The lab has had a few issues with drawing too much blood on my son and then losing my blood sample, but that's the only issues with this hospital, just the lab needs work.
My doctor, Megan Chandler is the absolute best. Ms. Chandler takes time with her patients, has amazing bedside manner and is just a really great physician. I highly reccomend Megan Chandler if you are in the market for a primary care doctor. |
Kelly C rated 1 5 months ago Went to ER for severe pain on right side of face & swollen throat. It wasnt strep so i was told to just go home no antibiotic - nothing. I spent 5 hours and idk how much money it will end up costing. Plus hours lost from work. Turned into a serious tooth abcess/infection and sepsis because it wasnt treated. Doctor made me feel like i was stupid for hurting so bad. |
Dylan Williams rated 1 6 months ago I worked for their EMS service as my first EMS job. Definitely have great cleanliness standards post first Covid shutdown. However, I literally was not allowed to take a single patent in the year that I worked there. Not from anything I did, but because the medical director was too scared to let EMT's of any level take any patient, due to a medial order a Medic gave to an EMT. Even after lifting the so called "Ban", my partners would not let me take any patients on my own, even though I had been cleared for months at this point from procedural training. I received more experience in my clinicals then I ever did working at MCHD (Obvious call volume difference between the two systems, but that doesn't change why I did not get ANY experience). I had to roll into my second year as a AEMT with little to no "actual" work experience. I love the staff that I had the opportunity to work with, but do not recommend it to anyone looking to get "worth while" experience as an EMT. Go to a big city or a larger college town. |
Oscar Davila rated 4 9 months ago Very friendly staff, was there to dispute a bill. Lady said she would have her supervisor fix it. We will see.
Well its been 2 months since I spoke to them about the bill, didn't get fixed. Still receiving a bill. Stopped by there again the other day around 4:10 pm and they had left for the day. Bad business. Done changed my dr there. Won't be back. |
Amber york rated 1 4 years ago One of the worst Emergency room visits I have ever had. The nurse's showed No Compassion. The Doctor put false information on my record. I went through 2 blood draws first thing because the nurse that drew it did it too fast so it was no good. I was in severe pain and all this hospital was concerned about was payment. And the harassment for a urine sample was insane. When I got my record I figured out why. For a Drug screen, I don't do Drugs and passed but the doctors and nurses acted like I was just there for pain med. The Doctor took the time to come in my room with attitude to tell me I needed to pee. What! I will when I can. Why the harassment? He sent me home with orders to take ibuprofen. Well I Have Colitis and if he was knowledgeable he would have found I was in the beginning of a flair and the last thing I need to take is ibuprofen. It's worth the drive to go to another Hospital. |
