j James rated 1 5 months ago Spoke to someone and went over everything. They were supposed to send a letter to tell me if they were accepting my case. Never sent a letter and never got anyone to answer the phone after that one conversation. |
Chris Fahey rated 1 8 months ago Any time someone offers free support, especially legal help, I’m thankful in whatever capacity provided. I worked through the process until I was schedule for an appointment with a paralegal. I felt near immediate discrimination. I wasn’t sure where the vibe was coming from but my situation was fairly simple and the answer I was needing was a simple yes or no in way of if they could assist. The paralegal was thorough in her notes and I was hopeful. Her tone was very argumentative; however, and phone demeanor was less than helpful. she kept referring me to the state agencies and courts I would go through to seek help; however, this information was known. The help I needed was actual legal assistance to petition these courts and agencies. I kept asking if that was something they could help with and she flat out refused to answer me. She was insistent on not providing any type of answer. By the end of the call, I had asked her to please disregard my request and to please not contact me in the future. Nothing about her seemed there to help. I was very hopeful entering into the conversation. I was more hopeless at the call’s conclusion. Had she just said “no, that’s not something we help with,” I would have been satisfied. She left me in a state of limbo by not being able to answer any questions, being verbally stand-offish and when I asked direct questions, she replied with information that was both avoidant and redundant. Very challenging experience.
Update in response to owner reply:
My issue is that your paralegal was giving me legal advice. Telling me what the laws were, what I should be doing and discouraging me from seeking help. I felt discriminated against for being a male in a situation. Against a female. It genuinely felt personal on her end. As if she was actively trying to dissuade me from trying to remedy my situation. She’s a paralegal whose job it was to take information. She asserted herself as a legal expert and advised accordingly. |
Sophie Grunge rated 1 9 months ago I call at 8am on Monday. I can't leave a voice-mail on their phone since it hangs up. I have enail, but they only contact me randomly on the phone. They reached out twice then threatened to close my application, despite no efforts to get hold of me in any other way or give me better options to get a hold of them. From the reviews, they will probably reject my application anyways. |
