I’ve made a review previously but I have to leave another due to my own unfortunate situations I ended up back at living grace 4 years later (with my same one child) I was welcomed back with open arms and as was my son. I faced a lot of personal issues during my last stay at living grace even resulting in my being hospitalized for 1 week. Stephanie , Pamelah , Amy and many other staff rose together to care for my son and take him back and forth to my moms and even spending nights with him themselves when my mom was unable. My child is 4 with cerebral palsy (non verbal and non walking) so this was a challenge they all stepped up too without a complaint. This is something that forever will stay in my heart. No program is perfect and it’s easy for people to sit behind a screen and find a million reasons to complain- but I have found all the reasons to be thankful for living grace. I can still call on them for things I need if I am in a rough spot just like most past residents do. I could still call most of the staff members just to vent or talk if I needed too, I do believe they genuinely care about the girls that come through this program. Ms Angel is able to connect and relate with most of the girls to help guide them to become better parents and women and she uses her own life experiences to do so. Most of the staff have faced their own battles too and are able to relate to girls who don’t have anyone else in there corner to even vent too. It’s more than just providing a roof or a bed- it’s providing a weight off your shoulders while you deal with a highly traumatic event (being homeless). Should anyone I know ever find themselves in that situation, I would always recommend them to call Living Grace. They will do whatever in their power to help - going above and beyond just “ job duties “ for all the girls. All the staff members will always have a place in my heart ❤️

I use to live at living grace 2015 I was having twins my experience was great. I was able to get on feet. They provided resources my my kids I. Even when I moved out Stephanie has been a great help for me if I need anything she’s always there to provide her services. This is like a second family. My children loves to go visit the children in the second program at Sequoia.. I never regretted going to this program. They teach you a lot about life and give tough love to help you survive in this harsh world. If you choose this place make sure you don’t get caught in the drama and stay focused on getting your life together, because here you can do it if you meet them half way they will do the rest for you just have to want it bad enough.

I received so much support and encouragement at Living Grace during my time there and after I moved out. Living Grace Homes is a place of love and growth. The staff invested their time and love into me and my daughter. And I am forever grateful for that. I am not sure how many of these shelters exist but Living Grace is definitely the blueprint. PERIOD!
