Tiffany, the lady working over here. We applied for the first time to housing. Received her email four days after the date I was supposed to answer and provide more info to housing. She sent us a threat like mail saying if you do not reply by “date” you will be terminated from the program. It only gives you a week or two time. This is disgusting. You can not just disqualify a person just because they received a request late in the mail. I am just writing this review because of her. We were supposed to answer her on the 13th of May and we received her request on the 18th of May. Of you skip a day not checking your mailbox or if there is a weekend in between, you will be disqualified. I hope everyone is aware that this is unreasonable to give only six days for someone who applies to send birth certificates, social security cards copies, income verification, and due date of an unborn child beside the immigrant status. Update: Audrey helped me at the front desk to appeal the cancellation of my application. She was really nice. Thank U Audrey. 🗒️ note: On 3:09pm Sep 20 2022 I called wanting a list of some other places where we can move to as the house we are living in has a leak every 10 days on average. However, the receptionist was so disrespectful and transferred me without even telling me. LHA should be happy to help others in need and not make others feel that only because they are getting help , they have no dignity and feelings. This is how most of the the people working here treat their client.

Worst place bunch of fraudulent activities and non credible and lack of integrity and scammers and thieves whom steal your money in name of so called assistance and no wonder why there’s some people taking money from governments overseas through wired money transfer never even checked through this stupid agency

I moved here to Lincoln a little over a year ago and my transition was very easy any questions or concerns have been handled at a timely fashion and respectful. Ms. Hicks does a amazing job I'm grateful to have a worker that handles clients with care

As of 05/05/2022, Amanda at LHA did not approve $650 rent for a two bedroom apartment. Market rate for 2bedrooms averages at least $700. This is why so many of you are on the waiting list. This is why so many landlords completely refuse to work with LHA.
