My family and I passed through the area and decided to attend. I admit that at first I thought it was going to be another light show. The songs were excellent with Jesus being the pinnacle of focus. The pastor seemed to have a passion for the Word that allowed no compromise. His Scripture exposition was good. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The Harrisburg area is blessed to have such a church planted there. We observed that there was a lot of imperfect people in attendance. So we fit right in with them.

Yeah….no thanks. The pastors wife once told my ex girlfriend that JESUS told her I wasn’t a good person. That they needed to pray to break the soul ties. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I thought Jesus and I were cool. In fact, I think we are on good terms. However this statement and misguided direction lead to nothing but turmoil. It’s cool that she has personal conversations with the big man up stairs and all, but I’ll be damned if I attend a church where someone who doesn’t know me speaks ill of me…especially someone in the position. I’ll continue to maintain a relationship with God on my own terms.

Over the past two plus decades that we have been a part of Life Bible Church it has proven to be a house of great teaching and preaching with a commitment to see people experience Christ’s saving grace, grow in faith, find restoration, and become equipped to share Jesus’ love with others.
