The lady who answered the phone is sooooo rude. She couldn’t give a crap about anyone or her job. Please hire someone who actually cares about….anything

Never reach out to this organization. Super unprofessional, unhelpful and a waste of time. The attorney I spoke with during my consultation genuinely laughed at my circumstances and a few days after my request was rejected. I was forced to represent myself which did not play in my favor. I cant stress this enough. Avoid this place at all costs

I worked with John Kelley at Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, and while I respect the organization’s mission, I was extremely disappointed by his conduct. He was rude, unprofessional, and openly admitted he didn’t have the knowledge to handle my case. He even acknowledged that I, being in my early 20s with no legal background, knew more about the laws, court procedures, and lawyer to lawyer communications more than he did. That’s deeply concerning coming from a licensed attorney. If you’re seeking actual legal guidance, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
