About This Service

Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas is a nonprofit organization that provides free civil legal services to low income residents in 114 Texas counties throughout North and West Texas, with offices in Abilene, Amarillo, Brownwood, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Lubbock, McKinney, Midland, Odessa, Plainview, San Angelo, Waxahachie, Weatherford and Wichita Falls.

Have repeatedly reached out for eviction help, with no answers or anyone contacting me back. Do NOT waste your time with this organization!

I have tried to get an attorney to fight my former landlord when my car was vandalized and they could not help me. Even when I didn't need a lawyer to fight my former landlord. I just needed help to fill out forms to file a lawsuit. These lawyers should be sued for legal malpractice.

Called several times and left messages. Needing a divorce with safety in mind. Can't even get a call back. Was directed to this office.. Covid or not people lives are at hand. Otherwise we wouldn't seek out help. Other legal aid offices do call back within a day or 2. Just seems this location doesn't give to flips.
