Sophia rated 1 2 weeks ago I had an appointment scheduled for 8am. I was informed that the NP was running late and would not arrive for another hour and then was given the option to wait or schedule at another location/ a different day. I chose to wait. The purpose of my visit was to obtain titers/vaccinations. After 3 hours my visit was complete….kind of. I wasn’t given an after care summary nor a record of the vaccination I received. I asked the front office for the info who then asked the MA. The MA had to wait for the NP for the after visit summary. The MA (I believe her name was Debbie?) haded me a print out of the vaccine with date however I wanted it to include the lot# as well as manufacturer and expiration date. Note* This has been standard of care in every practice I’ve taken my children to private or not no questions. Upon this request not only the MA but the office manager who had now stepped in told me “you’re asking for a lot of information” (I was told this TWICE) I explained that I wanted to submit document correctly to the institution requiring it; but not only that if there should be a recall I would like to have the info for my records. They said they don’t give that information but would contact me if something like that happened….I could see the purple and yellow vaccine label on a piece of paper right at the desk so I asked if they could make a copy for me. I was told no. I asked to take a photo. I was told no. The NP; A. Mouton who was on her laptop a few feet away then intercepted into the conversation asking me to show her where I was required to submit a lot# and that she had been to nursing school and she had never heard of that. I read over my documentation and it did not specifically require that information and yet I wanted it. I was refused to be provided with information regarding my health and a vaccine that was injected into my body. I did get the lot# but not the manufacturer or the expiration date of the vaccine. I’ve always had a pleasant experience with Legacy providers but all have been at the Baytown location. The visit to this location and this provider is a definite last. |
Marjory Rodriguez rated 1 a month ago Dr. Taylor and her medical assistant are the Rudest and unhelpful. I few months ago I made and appointment concerning my ovarian cyst, which I had to go to the hospital for. I was asked to get a check up, for how my cyst are doing. The day of the appointment, I’ve received a call to come in early, I informed the MA (I’m assuming it’s dr.Taylor ma) on the phone, that “I will try, because I had a chiropractor appointment” and she responded “well come early because of the rain”. Which I arrived 20 mins early, with no rain issues; sounds like, the ma and doctor just wanted to leave early. im aware the staff can’t leave until every patient is checked out. When I arrived dr. Taylor informs is best if you come a other day because you “ultrasound is too old” which I understand, but I drove about an hour to get to this clinic, I wanted to get check up, in other way, without the ultrasound being a issue. Her MA was also rude when taking my pulse and respiratory rate, even when she asked the questions before seeing the doctor. When I got to speak with Dr. Taylor, she told me that my concern isn’t something serious and that I should just get birth control. Which I responded, “I don’t feel comfortable with being on birth control, because I’ve been on it before and it affected me mentally and emotionally.” Her immediate respond was “why, are you trying to get pregnant or something ?” In the rudest tone possible.I was uncomfortable the whole appointment. I’ve never been to legacy, and my friend who is a MA for this company recommend to me, since of my financial situation. I hope nobody gets to experience this rudeness. |
Crystal Lytle rated 5 2 months ago I have no complaints with the deer park location the front desk ladies, the nurse and doctor were all very nice and informative this was my first time at this location the cost for no insurance was a little much but not horrible. Now I did have an appointment with eligibility at the baytown location and they were absolutely horrible and rude. I will not be returning to the baytown location for anything if I can help it. |
Lynda Freda rated 2 3 months ago Not sure how this place gets away with saying the help people who don't have insurance or money. When we walked in they handed us paperwork and said that will be $80, BEFORE we even sat down to fill things out. Not explaining anything about what that covers or how things worked.
My wife had been throwing up for over 12 hours, couldn't eat anything. They gave her 1 Zofran while she was there and didn't send her home with any, so needless to say, she threw up again all night. We have no insurance and are struggling to make ends meet. Drove 40 miles to go there because their supposed to help people who are struggling and they don't. We now have to go buy a prescription. Not sure how we'll get that yet, but I suggest you find a better clinic if you want to get help. Very disappointing 😞 |
