I've only ever volunteered here, but I can tell you that this place is very well run. There are good procedures in place for helping as many people as possible during their open hours. The staff and volunteers are so kind. I recommend volunteering with them and donating if you can. And if you need help, please do come here for food and other things if they are available (condoms, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, etc.). We all have to take care of each other and you shouldn't be ashamed to need help.

I greatly appreciate the services this place has to offer. Most of the people I have met here are kind and friendly and they also let you go through an assembly line to pick the kinds of food you want, which changes stock every time I have been there. The only complaint I would have is that pretty much every time I've gone there they've given me moldy vegetables or dry/old vegetables that are almost inedible. There have also been at least a few occasions where the person who was to be my helper through their assembly line was very abrupt with me and tried to rush me through the line. Sometimes when I picked a certain food item, they seemed irritated and seemed to suggest to me everything but those items (before I picked them) almost as if they didn't want me to choose it. It could just be me, I don't know. But I've had a few of these helpers that were like this and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I didn't want to complain because I am grateful to even be getting food I am not entitled to and I am thankful for that. But some of their staff just didn't seem to be all that friendly. Most were though.

The place to go when you need a helping hand. These kind people offer the food you & your family need to stay nourished and healthy. The absolute best!

This store is store is very fast providing people that's in line, the paperwork is easy showing an identification, and the food is superb that will last more than a couple of weeks. Friendly people and fresh flowers with every order.
