Their clinical director is obsessed with money and blocks access for treatment to anyone who may create a conflict of interest for her personal career.

While this place is no cakewalk,it shouldn’t be. I completed and graduated an entire 6 month program in 2017. Now I am a junior at CTU and I graduate October of 2023 with my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Without this place and the people there I would probably be dead or still shooting drugs. Now, I plan to work towards my Master’s then Doctoral degrees because I want to give back to the rehab community and help those who thought life was always gonna be screwed up. If you seek help, you will find it! 😁

I spent 5 months at the inpatient facility. And I spend another five nights in the extended care. I was invited back for my one year sober birthday. But after that it seemed that I was pushed away and not contacted by anyone at any time. I learned a lot and will not forget my experience from either place. But I was on the assumption that Grace house graduate would always be in connection with Grace house to find out that after that first year they are not. It means a great deal to me that Ive been clean for more than 2 years and I wish I could have expressed that to the other addicts in the rehab house.

I spoke with a receptionist named Amy and she was absolutely RUDE and Very sarcastic. We are not familiar with the whole rehab thing. My mother finally said she wanted to go and we thought Grace House would be nice until I spoke with Ms. Amy, the receptionist I'm assuming. She told me that my mother could not be accepted because she has seizures. How much sense does that make? I'm pretty sure it's a couple of their patients that has seizures when going through withdrawals. She was no help at ALL. You know, when an addict is ready and willing to go to rehab it should be opened arms. Even if your facility could not take her you could have Refered someone else instead of being smart and sarcastic about my lack of knowledge with the process. That's just a pathetic excuse to me and it made me very upset. I will continue to speak with someone of higher rank than Amy to get to the bottom of this.
