This place is very disgusting and they coerced me to give up my son for adoption and are refusing to pay for my counseling and and for my program for school and I want to know what Gladney used that 250,000 that DFPS HANDED YOU FOR POST ADOPTION SERVICE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT USING THAT MONEY FOR POST ADOPTION SERVICES. HOW IS THIS HAŔRASSMENT MARK OLIVER I'M JUST TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW GLADNEY CENTER FOR ADOPTION REALLY IS WITH THEIR BIRTHMOMS AND I WANT MY OPEN ADOPTION

After spending a significant amount of time and money they concluded our relationship as prospective adoptive parents. After we volunteered our time to help during an international hosting event, did all of their training, and attended many events including driving across the state we felt discarded because one meeting did not go well for a prospective child. The irony of abandoning us (they are supposed to help children) without responding to our email trying to at least end things on good terms is shameful. We wouldn't have written this review otherwise. Check out all of the recent reviews. Clearly something is wrong here. Don't waste your time here and find a more empathetic place to put your child up for adoption or find a child for your family.

We were surprised and disappointed to learn that Gladney is currently too overwhelmed to assist families looking to adopt—even to the point of not maintaining a waiting list. It’s disheartening, especially considering how many children in Texas are still waiting for loving homes. It feels strange, even concerning, that an established organization like Gladney doesn’t have the resources available to begin guiding prospective adoptive families through the process.
