Nobody knows what they’re doing over there…and you’re lucky if you get ahold of a real person. They send you an initial interview letter dated after the day of the interview. Send notices of missed appointments where nobody answers. We have spent hours on hold every time we’ve called. To top it all off, you can’t even go in to figure anything out. |
Melina Pico rated 1 a week ago I’m so aggravated! I’ve been on hold for 5 hours!! Finally they answered only to tell me they have to transfer me over to childcare which was the option I selected in the first place. This is a joke they are getting paid for literally doing nothing! Now I’m currently on hold again. Why have an option menu only for it not to actually send you to the people you need to speak with? And you would think to do ‘Request a callback’ but just a couple of weeks ago I called 3 days in a row asking for a call back and when they called it said to press a button to accept the call which I kept doing but then it said I didn’t select the option so they hung up every time I did this! I saw another reviews saying the same thing! I NEVER make reviews but they need to fix this ASAP. I missed work all day bc of this. I’m losing money just for someone to answer one simple question. Just ridiculous!
Update: I finally spoke to the rep and she was barely an help bc she wasn’t the agent on my daughters case. So she had the audacity to get annoyed with me for asking a couple simple questions! After waiting for 5 hours I was still polite. She was annoyed with me for just asking how long it would take for them to process my daughters application. So unprofessional. I understand working on phones is a bit much bc I’m a receptionist but I don’t have an attitude with my clients who are patiently waiting to ask such simple questions. 😡 DO BETTER! |
Mariah Johnson rated 1 3 weeks ago If I could give zero stars for our WELFARE SYSTEM I would. My electric went out for over 6 hours and it took 11 days of calling to reach anyone to figure out where I submit my paperwork for replacement stamps. The papers were scanned in the same day I submitted it- but no approval or denial letter, no replacement stamps (and I have NO food until my reload date). Been calling for 4 days now right at 8 am and get a 4-6 hour wait time and EVERY SINGLE TIME someone answers and hangs up so I can’t speak to anyone!!!! I work I pay bills and I pay for their wages and the benefits I receive and they can’t answer the phones to tell me if or when I will receive my replacements benefits. |
No Name rated 1 3 months ago Columbus Ohio has to be the worst place to ever try and get assistance. I had a phone interview and literally stayed on the phone getting hung up on from 830am until 12:30pm no one ever answered the phone ! Yet can’t nobody come inside to speak with anyone. I’ve never in my life had to jump through this many hoops to get something as simple as food stamps. Then it’s so annoying when they send the notice that you “missed” your interview when in all actuality NOBODY EVER ANSWERED THE PHONE! If y’all can’t do something as simple as answer the phone then you should make it where the person can do the “interview” virtually or online. OR THE “case worker” should call not us call you. Just unprofessional and shows they don’t care about helping this community at all. Because clearly nobody is there working or doing their job |
Alexis Johnson rated 2 3 months ago You very rarely get someone who actually wants to help and cares… Normally I’ll call AS SOON AS THE LINES open up. & I will still be on hold for hours!!! My wait time will say 20 minutes and they 20 minutes turns into 2+ hours. & sometimes they even hang up on you. FOR NO REASON. I absolutely hate going through this place, but wish the online portal actually could help you more than it does. It’s better than it used to be, but I mean it’s ridiculous how hard it is to renew your coverage or apply, get help of any sort. I will never understand it. My mom worked at this location for a few years and she would say all the women talked about was their miserable lives at home and feeding their face! ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB. It is really not that hard. You should want to help out people. My mom when she worked at jobs and family would let women know what to do, and other employees would get upset with her for letting someone in need know; what they can get. ITS NOT YOUR MONEY. Stop 🛑 and think about others. HELP OUT THE COUNTY AND STOP BEING LAZY.
