Not quite sure what’s going on here, but it seems like they’re going through nurse practitioners like hotcakes! You’ll get one they leave, then you can’t get your medicine refilled. Then the desk says you need another appt but with who, because they tell you that can’t make an appointment with your provider until they find out for sure if you can make an appointment with them and that they will call you Friday to let you know if the provider is taking appts? Aka she’s probably leaving there?! So Friday comes and no call no refill and there you are still no appt and no medication. They don’t do refills even though you’ve been on the same medication for years?! The place is turning into a circus. Whoever is running the place is doing a terrible job. I know it was purchased a while ago but come on do better! You can’t keep staff number one and number two you’re playing with people’s mental health in the way that you are regarding their medication. It sounds like a liability to me. I know several people that are having the same issue here! The way online telemedicine is now, you can just order medicine online so easily I don’t know what their problem is in refilling people’s prescriptions when they’re providers, can’t take appointments for their patients to get their refills?! Another issue is with them answering their phones and returning phone calls. It’s time to look for another office.

I have been Seeing Sara Carter for about 2 years now. She has helped me so much. I am so grateful for her and all she Does for me. I feel so much better than I did before I have been seeing her. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs this type of service. Thank you, Sarah for all you do.

I want to quickly mention that Dr. Smith has displayed tolerance, but also exhibits racial biases, cognitive distortions, and boundary issues. What strikes me as odd is that despite holding a position of authority, he seems oblivious to these issues. Although I am relieved to have completed the class without incident, I am still distressed by Dr. Smith's prejudice towards me, his facetious demeanor during our genuine conversations, and his tendency to touch me without permission. He would always ask, “Are you going to smile today.?.” before class and then touch my shoulder without permission. There is no nice way to tell a person, please don't touch me; I shouldn't have to ask a person not to touch me. Also, I used to make jokes and laugh every class. Why would he have to ask me that in the first place? He never shied away from telling me about how much I scared him, no matter what I would wear or how I monitored my tone of voice. The first time I met him he pointed at me like a dog and signaled me to come towards him which immediately stroked me as weird but if I said anything I'm sure I would have been made out as an aggressor because he's done that in actual classes and has complained about my “tone.” when in reality it was his perception of me. I'll never forget nor forgive; I dislike feeling uncomfortable in my existence, and in situations like this, it's difficult to determine if behavior like Dr. Rick Smith's is intentional or not. I was annoyed at how it always seemed like we were having two different conversations. After a while, I just ignored it and went along because I hate having to correct or feel like I'm over-informing/explaining. Horrible experience. I'm glad to be back home and away from unstable people who made me feel even more unstable. Side note: he will never get a penny out of me. The things he subjected me to still caused me strife, and I had to sit there and act the opposite way that I was feeling, and I will never feel that way again. I'm also confused as to how he has a PhD but doesn't seem to know much about his field other than the DSM-5.
