This place is a joke!! I called my coordinate Bernadette Walker everyday for 3wks straight. The receptionist kept saying that she would relay my messages. Yea right. All I asked for was a copy of the TRO that they were supposed to provide!

When I came in for my appointment I was extremely nervous terrified of what could possibly happen to me, but after speaking to Kendra M. I knew I would be ok. She’s very compassionate when it comes to her job excellent customer service. Speaking with her help ease my mind and improved my day. I’m truly grateful for the wonderful outstanding customer service I received from her. She went above and beyond. Thank you so much Kendra!

Director is amazing and supportive. Staff are always helpful. Social workers do their best. I been through DV and with their support I can be enough strong to get back on my feet. Remember you have to work hard in your stability, they provide you referrals and opportunities and it's up to you if you work with them.This place is a blessing for Memphis.

Rude unprofessional and very unorganized. !! Was helping a friend of mine that's in a dire situation and is need of filing an order of protection and I've repeatedly drove her to this place , which is 45 minutes away, 4 times!!! And she's been told that her Counselor Ashley Stafford was in meetings and the receptionist didn't relay her messages to her. She had an appointment. System was down etc... Blah blah blah!!! Never received phone calls back etc... $100 in gas to and from. I'm thinking about filing a better business Bureau complaint against the owner for compensation of time and money for expenses

I’m so sorry to hear of some of the ladies’ negative experience(s). I had a very good experience with attentive & caring staff. My counselor there worked with me & helped me tremendously. I also had an advocate who went to court with me. I would recommend FSC to anyone in need of their services. I will say that if you find yourself in a domestic violence situation, please, please, please file a police report for every occurrence! And don’t take no for an answer! I say this because some officers will not file a report, especially without visible injuries. I was being stalked, harassed, verbally and emotionally abused & threatened by my husband (at the time we were separated & in the process of divorce). File police reports, print threatening text/email messages. Take pictures of injuries. You will need these things when you go to court, otherwise it’s a case of he-said, she-said. Don’t give up. Do all you can to get victory over this situation.
