We are new to the area and searching for a church that’s right for us. My DIL, two grandchildren (4&6) and I, attended this past weekend and will never return. We received several sneers from churchgoers when my 4 year old grandson softly asked to go the bathroom. I assure you they were both well behaved throughout the sermon. To be honest even if they weren’t, I have no desire to be a part of any such place. They should be ashamed to call themselves Christians

I have tried my best to like this church, however, when I see people dressed like they are heading to the beach and wearing baseball caps I can't get over the disrespectfulness. The church is the house of the Lord. There should be reverence during attendance. Guys and girls alike take their hats off during the National Anthem yet in church it's acceptable not to. Just more conforming to the world.

If you are looking for a mega progressive coffee church this is the place. Apparently, my wife and I were "over-dressed" to worship...I was in a suit and my wife wore a dress, seems normal to me but hey, what do I know? I guess looking respectable is unacceptable at Port City and one of the church faculty let us know it with a RUDE comment! Great way to meet NEW people who haven't been to your church before and make them feel really comfortable. I realize you are deeply concerned with being "all-inclusive" however you might want to practice what you preach and refrain from insulting people simply because they took the time to wear more than beach shorts and flips-flops to worship. Not friendly, not nice, no thanks. I really never appreciated church as a child, looking back I had no idea how good I had it, I so wish I could find one of those churches again. I definitely would not recommend Port City Community church to anyone, especially those that have relocated and are looking for a new church, this isn't it.

My church home since 2007. Really enjoy the people here, the ambiance, the effort they make to create such a special experience for all that walk in the doors. A safe space for all people-- everyone has a spot here to be welcomed with open arms.
