Last year our son was invited by a friend to attend awana at Foothills Church. Upon enrolling him, we are told because we were not members of the church that one of us had to volunteer in order for him to attend. Although it was an extremely busy time in life for my husband and I, my husband agreed to volunteer so our son could have the experience. Our friend told us she volunteered the first year too, but after that we will be "in." Come this year I go to sign my son up and I am told we have to volunteer again due to us not being members of the church. I called an left a vm and received a call back from Jim, whom was in charge of awana and was indeed told my son was not allowed to attend unless one of us volunteered. The way he spoke to me and the things he said were very rude. I most definitely did not feel as if I was speaking to a leader at a church. This year between new businesses and a new baby being born there was no way we could make it work. My son was so upset and still to this day asks when he can go back. I never imagined writing a negative review about a church, however I feel like this is totally backwards. Our home church is exact opposite of this and constantly asking for their members and those who call it their home church to volunteer in order for them to be able to reach more people and bring more people to Christ. Needless to say, my family and I will not be atrending this church in the future. We will stick to our home church where we feel God and know he is moving!

I went for the Good Friday service and reflected on what Jesus did for us. Thoughtful and inspired explanation of Jesus's last words, "It is finished" and what that actually meant.

This is not a place of God, rather a place to find Christian Nationalism. A place that supports such statements as "Rights listed in the US and California Constitutions are NOT rights given by the government. They are inherent rights extended by GOD to all those BORN IN THIS COUNTRY".
I attended in 2019 and felt so alienated but don't like to write negative reviews of churches. Until now. I cannot stand by while a Wolf is preaching. Disgusting.

Great preaching! Wonderful pastors who preach God's Word. Friendly people who seek God's will for their lives. A safe place to be.

Great Sunday morning community. Very welcoming. People are genuinely glad you are there. Pre-recorded announcements seem a little impersonal, but otherwise a very conservative modern service that everyone can benefit from.
