I am currently here bedridden to be cared for and to do physical therapy rehabilitation.... due to my motorcycle accident.
I STRONGLY ADVISE DON'T send any of your friends or relatives here!!! Most nurses & The aids who are to care for you don't care about your well being,(there ARE a small group of staff that do care though) they continue to openly talk how they hate this place, thier boss, thier job, etc. There is NO sense of professionalism here. I CANT STRESS IT ENOUGH, DONT PUT YOUR FAMILY RELATIVES HERE!!!!!
I'm made to feel like I'm a huge inconvenience when I have to ask for pain meds when it takes them over 3hrs to give me them from the 1st initial time I asked for them.
The people here are only here to collect a paycheck and nothing more.
The food quality and portion is horrible. How can they expect a grown adult to be satisfied with the meals they are serving.
There is no sense of awareness when it comes to cleanliness. This place is dirty and filthy.
That all being said... The Physical Therapists & Occupational Therapists are WONDERFUL!!! Especially Sherry. The go above and beyond for us patients. And Have helped me recover faster than 1st expected. They have such huge hearts.
I'm currently having family work on transferring me out of here Due to the negligence received and lack of medical care.

Absolute worst. Bed bugs among others. Staff is non caring, especially the administration. They threw away my father’s belongings including family photos, and his cell phone. Constant billing mistakes and putting wrong social security number and other wrong information on state documents.

Had I written this review six month ago it would have been much closer to five stars. The problem is, they had a change at the patient advocate or director level (I don't remember her exact title). My father went in to Eastbrook at the start of 2021 with a number of health issues as his health spiraled and declined. He was in the hospital for almost two years before almost passing away. At the end of the summer, when we knew he was never going home we worked to get my power of attorney set up to get issues taken care of. However, due to the state and city Covid rules at the time I couldn't bring a notary in with me to get the paperwork finished. I had one hospital willing to help me but she tried to reach out to this new person multiple times and they would never respond. Thankfully, during one of his turns of getting bounced from hospital to hospital, he landed at one where they were able to help me and my father out. Every time dad would get transferred back to Eastbook, after the change, the updates became much less frequent. Often times family would ask where he was and I struggled to find him only to discover he had been sent to the hospital and they had not contacted me. His assigned nurse was a god send and would reach out to me personally to update me.
With my father bouncing around my dad only ever kept his phone with him, but, he couldn't talk and was very weak so his phone wasn't useful. So, we got him a nice 2 in 1 laptop. When he passed away I contacted them to let them know so that I would stop getting auto calls whenever there was a Covid notice and to get his personal items. I got the phone from the hospital and was told that someone would mail me his 2 in 1. Nothing. I call again. This time the person says they have to talk to this new person and they'll call me back. Again, nothing. I call again, someone transfers me to her. She says they can't find it. I tell her exactly where his nurse said she put it. She says she'll call me back. Nothing. I call again. Same run around about both the laptop and I'm still getting the covid notices which really sucks when you're trying to move through the grieving process. Still nothing. Weeks I've gone through this. The messages finally stopped but I never heard anything about his property even though it was specifically put in a closet to be set aside for him. So, I guess when someone dies it's free items time at Eastbrook under the new management.
The three star review I'm giving is entirely based on how much I loved his nurses. They were beautiful and hard working women who are amazing and deserve to work for better leadership.
