I'm a concerned citizen that is concerned about the children that ride on the v 70 bus. The lady does 45 in a 35. Im very concerned about the safety of the children that ride it. Happens most of the time when she leave Indian hills elementary.

I cant say enough good things about this place. My daughter started attending daycare here when she was 6 months old. She is 2.5 yrs old now and ELC is like a second family. The staff and teachers really care about kids and it shows. No regrets here

The staff is amazing! They really love what they do. I really don't understand the negative reviews. The facility is the cleanest of its kind in town, they provide extra care and support for children with special needs, they do fun educational activities during the day, they take them out for fresh air on the gated playground and occasionally have short trips to the quad, theater and performing arts center, they accommodate children who leave for school or special education, they do assessments every semester so you can see their progress and they provide a detailed slip daily for parents of young children that track diaper changes, how much food they eat during the day, how long they napped and activities. They take the trick-or-treating around campus during halloween and have easter egg hunts on the week of easter. They always do something fun for holidays, and have fun theme weeks where the kids can dress up. I have two special needs children here that I love more than anything, I wouldn't trust them anywhere else. The elc is the best childcare in town, especially if you're a college student. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the facility. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Not a good place if you value the safety of your child. We have had our now-2-year-old son there for about a year and a half in a room with an out-of-control toddler. The providers are great and do their best to manage the child's behavior, but obviously they can only do so much, especially if the parents are not willing to punish biting, slapping, and scratching at home. What's infuriating, though, is that the administration has been well aware of this child's misbehavior for about a YEAR AND A HALF (seriously, there have been numerous incident reports filed due to bruising caused by the crazy toddler's hitting and biting), and yet ELC has done nothing to pressure the parents to seek treatment OR to see about moving that child to another classroom! After my son ended up with a bite-bruise on his arm the size of a walnut, I decided to remove my son and never look back. I wish more parents would do the same to send the message that violence like this is NOT okay, no matter the age of the child.

We have 2 children here and they do a great job. Have many scheduling options and are great if you are an ISU student. They do great activities and really emphasize learning.
