Only giving this a 4 star because of Lucy. I walked here , I always said if I had to walk anywhere in life , it’ll be in Durham 💯 . Lucy looked at me with so much hope when I walk in , like you’re going to have a place here . And I did . My room was so nice upon greeting. And I loved my purple blankey they gave me. They had all sorts of good food in the kitchen veggies and fruit 😍😍 I met some amazing people here , but then again. Its Durham. What I didn’t like about this place , is that they forced you to wear a dress or a skirt to church like 3 times a week. Seems very violating . Why can’t I wear dress pants? Then why do they require you to sit around and do nothing for 6 months . Just another skeem to not get the house ❌ . Getting wrote up and stuff, who writes people up lol. Forgot to turn in a summary of what we learnt in church? Write up. After so many write ups like 6 you get kicked out. I didnt but still . Cant really be to mad that , that leadership is in just after coming back from kamala and her infrastructure , her minions are in postion of leadership or were . Anyways get some people in there from the bullcity who are durham, who know how ro run this place .

Honestly I miss the mission regardless of their flaws they do have amazing things they do do for the children there I can say they truly do care for thr kids once was able to get outside work it wasn't bad as it seems and yes it wasn't the best but you really if you willing can grow your relationship with God and that was the good thing about it

I’M WRITING THIS AGAIN SINCE MY REVIEW FROM LAST MONTH WAS DELETED😂😂anyway, I would not recommend anyone to stay here, I went to the hospital July 5th for a suicide attempt, and while I was in the hospital I was informed that Ms CeCe had threw all of my belongings away because she claim that when she called the hospital they wouldn’t give her any information on me which she should’ve known they wouldn’t, it’s called hippa…When I was released I called several times to see if they could reimburse me for the things they threw away which would end up to $400, she said they wasn’t going to reimburse me…The place is very nasty, mold every where, it’s infested with roaches, you can’t even sleeep at night without roaches crawling on you…This is suppose to be a faith based mission but every one in the shelter has nasty attitudes, they’re very rude and not friendly at all…I pray they all find peace within themselves and joy because they definitely don’t display the guilt of the spirit….
