I was referred here by my psychiatrist (I’m suicidal) I called & tried to explain my situation the lady would not even let me speak she just kept saying this is not a shelter didn’t try and explain the housing program or let me ask it was very unprofessional & not helpful to my mental illnesses rn

Meh. This place seems to be filled with people who think they are helping but definitely aren't. Management is lackluster and it doesn't seem like people care. Its a place meant for healing but it only adresses one problems: homelessness. You should be striving to liberate the women who live here not hinder them. Need some tips?

Deborah's Place is a warm wonderful "Home" for Women. Staff are encouraging, positive, up-beat. May God continue to bless Deborah's Place and truly, sincerely hope they branch out because so many people need them like I did!
