I love this place & the people that works in it🙏🏾 Thanks to them my daughter was able to finally move in her own apartment with both kids 🙏🏾💪🏾 They even helped her furnish her whole home 🏡 YOU GUY’S IS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE THANK YOU 😊

I am extremely heartbroken and disappointed by my experience with Dawning Family Services. As a mother coming out of domestic violence and homelessness, I came to them in a vulnerable place, hoping for the support and stability they promised for both myself and my son. From the beginning, I was told we would be taken care of — that we’d be placed in a hotel and eventually assisted with more stable housing. This gave me hope, especially as I was actively working to rebuild my life. However, at the very moment things began to look up and I secured a job, I was told that they could no longer help me simply because I was staying in an emergency shelter. This decision came at the last minute, and it felt like the rug was pulled from under me. Not only was this incredibly disheartening, but it also put me at risk of losing the very progress I had fought so hard to make. The lack of organization and follow-through at Dawning Family Services is unacceptable. Promises were made, and expectations were set, only to be broken when it mattered most. Their actions caused unnecessary stress and made me feel like I was being penalized for trying to get back on my feet. I would not recommend this program to anyone in crisis. If you’re already in a fragile place, the emotional toll of having help dangled in front of you and then taken away can be devastating. That said, I still believe God has my best interest at heart.
