So I am enrolled in the FSET program here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was given an appointment here at their office at the Community Advocate for 11am on a snowy, FREEZING day. I got there 15 minutes early, as requested by my case manager. When my turn came to step to the receptionist window, she was sbusy talking to another woman behind the window. I tapped the glass and said excuse me. I told the receptionist what I was there for, told to type in my social security number, and asked WHO I'm here to see. I showed her the paper that was mailed to me as a reminder, and she told me that I'm to late for intake. I was confused and showed her that the appointment is for 11 o'clock, which was a good 10 minutes from now. SHE told me that intake is at 9:30 am and is have to come back the next day. I asked how that was possible if the appointment, that was made BY FSET says the appointment was for 11,which hasn't even come yet. She proceeded to frown up and said it wasn't her concern and come back tomorrow, looking at me like I was trash or a nobody. I admit... I DID get angry and... had an "outburst" in the lobby, but the attitude and dismissal this woman threw at me angered me. As I'm walking towards the doors, the guy that I had waited behind told me that the receptionist waa the same way towards him ALSO,and he cursed her out and walked away. I left, called the number on the paperwork and was told that they will send it to the higher ups. I got a call from the DIRECTOR of FSET and was given an apology from her for what happened. I told her that as long as I am enrolled in the program I NEVER want to come back to tTHAT location for fear of what might happen on my part if I rver encountee that woman again!! I don't know if the guy before me angered her to the point that she acted that way towards ME, but you should NEVER behave that way to someone... ANYONE! That is not what a public employee should EVER do, even if you were angry for harsh words thrown at you. ***** I give this ZERO stars, but one is as low as they allow you to rate. The receptionist gets ZERO STARS but I give the FSET director and the assistant director 10 STARS for their help and words. *****

Front desk was helpful and professional but lady in the back was semi judgemental and telling me what I never was able to afford. Ms. Lady I just fell on hard times and didn't need assistance now that I do she was acting like I needed her personal money for assistance and I didn't appreciate that type of attitude. No empathy at all.

I went to the Bottomless closet with Kerry and let me tell you. She was so helpful patient with me. The Closet is for men and women in need of dress clothes for job searching. I spent an hour piecing together an outfit or two for an interview with Milwaukee county. 😅🫰🏽 I will have good news by Friday. All in all this was a pleasant experience 10 out of 10. So if you need to land the job of ur dreams and don't have money to buy new things this is the place for 🫵🏽🙂
