People have to remember this is a shelter not a trash dump. I have only had good experiences with the mission.

Why isn’t there a voicemail setup? After a few phone calls and then finally an email, I was contacted back. I was told my items could be picked up yesterday and was asked if I had any photos of the furniture ( I have 3 tables and 2 dressers). I only had photos of the tables but was quickly informed someone will come to my place at 3:30 and was asked for my address. I said that I forgot to include my apartment number and then suddenly the phone call was disconnected. 3:30 rolls around and no one showed up. I sent another email but received no response and of course the phone just rings and rings. It is very rude to hang up the phone on someone who is willing to donate even if they do live in an apartment building

I'm a long time customer along with my now adult children. After my divorce I went to Helping Hand Mission and bought a house full of all I needed at a very good reasonable price. (Whether on too of their head or not).My now three Adult children have over the years g9tten their own place and when they need furniture,this is normally where they go. As my family grows with Grand children,this place has blessed my family with nice items I purchased. Yes I've experienced some unpleasant customer service a few times but so have I at Walmart or any other place but I go get what I want and life goes on. I pray the mission to help others continue and any issues be addressed to make a great shopping experience to All.
