Most of the staff cares. However, this place reminds you that hunger is underrated. They do, however, have a relaxed day shelter and after the meal is served and the kitchen is closed, there's a 2-hour Bible study nearly every day of the week. That may sound like a bore, but they don't mind if you sit in and drink some coffee and they don't make you participate. Just place a Bible in front of you and pretend you're reading it. For those not fully versed in how to properly pretend to read the Bible, just do a lot of yawning and eye rolling.

You can feel safe at this place and even make a friend or two. The food is so good. The shower so refreshing. The coffee so hot. I no longer am homeless but this place brought me comfort during a very dark period.

Mike and all the others are great help to me and help me get into a safe place at St Francis has instead of being out in the cold and and people's been stealing my things thank you so much guys
