Great start, frustrating ending. Started the process to get my child services, but when I mentioned we are also scheduling with another therapist of a different modality, it totally changed the conversation into one without well reasoned logic. I Wish I had never mentioned it, as I’d probably be receiving decent services. The logic was along the lines of another therapist would interfere with the development of a relationship with them. Such a weird thing to say about therapists, but if they didn’t know each other existed patients might get more help from multiple sources. A great resilience factor, some would argue.
