The Director Tammy is horrible! She shows favoritism with kids if their parents contributes. She talked poorly about other kids with staff, the building isn’t clean, the restrooms were a mess. Her staff is afraid of her. 1 of the teachers that I know of hits the kids. I think the Daycare needs a better Director!! And Child Care of SouthWest FL backs up all the garbage the director does! Like another parent stated, they will kick you out if you complain!! With all of these bad reviews, why is She still the Director?

This center is phenomenal! The teachers are loving the volunteers are SCREENED and very helpful. I have nothing but great things to say about this childcare center and highly recommend them for your childcare needs. They are open from 6:30 am until 11:00 pm and rates are reasonable for paying parents. Mrs. Tammy and Mrs. Yolanda run a tight ship and you can expect that your child will be in the best hands in Lee County!

Our son has been enrolled since he was 1 y.o. and I have only great things to say about this center. The staff and administration DO CARE about the kids. The center smells wonderful, as it's the only daycare in the area that has a real kitchen, and kids have cooked food at least 3 times a day. The staff that I met 4 years ago is still there caring for kids, which tells me that they feel valued and appreciated. The center has a laundry room, so even when my son soiled all of his back-up clothes during the early days, he was then dressed in loner clothes. He was never left dirty, hungry or unattended. Any ongoing questions or concerns are immediately addressed by the staff and administration. The education component is priceless, as I can track his development through multiple reports and parent conferences. I decided to write this review after reading horrible claims of negligence that I have never witnessed. So, if you consider enrolling your child in daycare, the best way would be to visit the center in person and just ask for a quick tour. The smell of home-made food and happy, busy kids will be the best answer to the reviews that bitter people chose to publish.

My children Alivia(4), Fletcher (3) and I love Joseph H. Messing Children! The staff is amazing and understanding! They have helped my kids reach their education goals and exceed the goals! This is the best childcare I could have ever dreamed of for my children! They started working with my children writing their names and counting as soon as my children were ready and could hold a writing tool. The staff knows myself and my children very well! I feel when I leave for the day as if I am leaving my kids with their loved family members! I am excited for my daughter to start school in the fall because of how great the lessons plans are here and because the VPK program has prepared my kids for starting school. My daughter will be in the top of her class just starting in the fall. This is all due to the one on one attention every child receives at Joseph H. Messina Children's learning center! Only thing I am not happy with is that my kids will have to graduate and leave the school! I wish they could stay here through graduating High School! If you send your child here you will be pleased and feel comfortable going to work. Because, the teachers and staff love every child as their very own!

Worst daycare EVER!!!!! The staff is garbage the director Tammy is even bigger garbage and when you address the issues with the staff to the board of directors they kick you out instead of fixing the problem. I had to call DCF on them and found out I wasn't the first and came to find out I was far from the last. They allow their husbands to be there watching kids with no background check and they neglect the kids, hurt and scream at the kids. They also have other sister facilities that are ran by the same people and just as terrible. If you love or value your child keep them away from this horrible childcare aling with their sister locations. I have seen first hand a multitude of mothers angered by this daycare. Sent to the hospital with hurt kids and not to mention the staff is as ghetto as the come always screaming at the kids and to fat and lazy to get up and actually care for the children. I actually witnessed a teacher pulling a toddler up by her 1 arm and hanging in the air. The staff also have no problem screaming and using bad language at the parents in front of the kids!!!!! Absolutely terrible daycare.....
