After searching for many options to try to seek help for my domestic abuse case. I came accross Catholic Charities. I kept emailing with Mr. Gregory and he gave me hope. He said Mrs. Basra would take my case. He said, and I quote “Attorney Mohammad would like to know more about the letters submitted to USCIS, and please write a letter of the abused you endured with your husband” He asked to have all this dropped by the office, which I did. Today I received a very hostile call from Mrs.Basra Mohammad (the attorney who according to the para was interested in my case) she was very intense saying; me dropping off the paperwork without any consent was ILEGAL! That she was not taking my case Nor did she ever agree to do so. She was practically yelling at me ,not allowing me to speak. I was very confused and blown away, When all this time I’ve been communicating with her legal team who guided me on what to provide and I have emails to prove it. How can they treat someone seeking for help this way?! . I’m Very disappointed to say the least, she barely let me get any saying in our conversation. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity.
