I have been here a few times, and though I am thankful and grateful for what they are trying to do, they don't give you anything that you can cook or make a meal out of. The staff is friendly and kind, although it seems like they look like "Why are you here? It's not just this organization It is the whole South Omaha Community.

Love the entire process. Being a drive thru pantry is so much easier on me and my kiddos. Sitting in rooms or long lines with 75 other people always makes me nervous as I work two jobs and can’t get sick. If I get to the point, I just can’t risk it. This is the only pantry I go to. The security guard is super friendly. The other volunteers are always just amazing. Even through the winter on super cold days they are out there helping us out. They have a card now when you fill out the paperwork the first time they just scanned the card which is a fabulous process. They also do fresh fruit and vegetable boxes now. I would actually rather have that than meat. sometimes they’re the weird or broken pieces like misfits but I would say 75% of it can be used. I basically throw it in the Instapot. Make fried apples etc.
