None of these places can help you. Unless you have money and can afford an attorney you don't matter. If you are brown and broke? And your abuser is white and can pay to play the legal games? He could choke you in front of the judge and still win full custody. So my advice? Even if you leave it will never get better. No one really cares or if they do unless they have 2500$ to give you for an attorney it's all just words in the wind. Women like us don't matter.

I stayed here with both of my kids and I recommend anyone who also is trying to escape from domestic violence to go there too. The 3 of us had our own room with bunk beds, a playground at back, food brought in that tasted fantastic (especially the Olive Garden Toscana soup), classes to help with pretty much everything, they even paid for gas so I can build get my kids to and from school. Your surrounded by girls who have been through the exact same things as you and they help you find a way out. Not just a temporary solution, but a permanent one

They were very rude and mean telling me that I needed to leave when I was just trying to get my backpack back that a friend that I told to go there ended up going home her dad put it in the bushes and all I was was trying to do is ask for my stuff if they got it I'm a retired army veteran so now I will never tell someone to go there for anything so they call that a mission of god god say to help those in need not to threaten them to get off property or I will call the cops for treaspassing so how is it like that
