Very helpful! Chuck and Lisa are to the point and will assist you with housing. As long as you do what they request. But very caring people and loving people.

I had an emergency I couldn't stay in my apt for a week. I called catholic charities and left a message. Chuck called me back immediately and when I told him the issue he said call him that morning when i leave my apt and he'd get me and my children into a motel. Sure enough that morning he did exactly what he said he would. They were/are very accommodating. It was something that needed done quickly so they interviewed me after I was in the motel which they have an office in for quick access to them. I'm here now and feel very safe. Thank u Chuck and Catholic Charities for the help. Also to anyone leaving bad reviews; they have rules from the government they have to follow. They are not turning ppl away for just no reason. They have a job to do and bosses like any other job. If u want to get mad at someone get mad at the US government for their rules and regulations.

Catholic Charities in Butler, PA helped my brother when he was homeless do to his drinking problem. They paid for a motel to stay in rent free and feed him. They also, helped to get a job and clothes, shoes and a monthly bus pass for his job.He found an apartment and Catholic Charities paid the first 3 months rent and the security deposit. God bless you all for donates their time and money to help my brother. You maybe thinking why I didn't help him myself. I was constantly bailing him out again and again. I had to let him go because I wasn't really helping him. He had to hit his rock bottom .

I had lived there over 10 years ago as a 12 year old girl. My mom and I were in a bad home situation and the employees there accepted us with open arms that same day. Because my mom didn't fall on hard times with drugs the people let us stay there for over a month before we found a place to stay. They were kind to us. When you live there you get your own room. You share a bathroom and a kitchen with three other rooms but if you're down on your luck and need a place to stay it will help you.
