I loved everything about my experience here. You learn and caught on quickly with the teachers. Ms Candace was awesome, I completely the program a few years ago maybe 3-4 years ago and now want to go further into the field of nursing.

I received my CNA training from here 12 long years ago, great school they were thorough and to the point if I can recal classes lasted about 6 weeks or 8 I’m not sure but it wasn’t long and I think I paid 1,200-1,500 for the entire course which was awesome. Clinicals were every weekend all white uniforms required while at clinical at a Korean nursing home so we had a good variety for training, there was actually someone with air born illness which gave us a chance to experience how those type of patients are handled as far as exposure etc. When I was there it was a mother and daughter establishment and they were pretty good. You pay as you go to my knowledge which is good for someone who isn’t making a lot of money like me at the time. I aced my text and state exams so that tells you how good your trained. Hopefully they still have the same quality and values that were practiced when I attended. I carried my CNA to Wisconsin lucky illinois is one of the states where your certification travels.

Beware. I was discriminated against solely based on my ethnic background, race, skin color and height. While explaining to everyone that her husband was a police officer, Candice Nono kept focus on me the entire time and secretly contacted the Chicago police department without me knowing. She Falsely accused me of verbally and physically assaulting her. 2 CPD officers did not believe her accusations and she kept asking for a police report they refused to give it to her. There were others in the classroom as well no one testified for her because it wasn't true. She then tried to use the Hispanic maintenance guy to lie for her as well. If it were true, I would've been arrested no doubt. I find that kind of behavior from a "registered nurse" at a career training center very odd and unacceptable. She had no reason whatsoever to try to have me arrested besides trying to bring me down!! and the fact that she is racist towards taller black women!!!
