Care for real provides an excellent service to the neighborhood. Not only do they provide a food bank where they can cater to your dietary needs they also have a pet pantry that is rare to find. They so offer personal care items as available.There is also a clothing closet you can make an appointment for. They also provide certain social services and can provide references for other services as needed. They are a valuable resource on the north side of Chicago.

I would say bad about this place and give it two stars but the food they give out is pretty decent the only incident I had is when someone was rude to me and my girlfriend trying to get food from this place and one of the staff there heard their side and not mine correctly and I was told not to come back only her because she's been there for 2 years I'm guessing next time I will let people cut me in line because I guess that's the right thing to do and very sorry for what happened and I hope I can come back I will act right next time..

I went today to get some food and got a full cart of items thankfully there this places that help people out when it needed and everyone is so nice there I recommend coming here if you need food and thankfully I got a pack of diapers and one pack of wipes for my baby
