I'm very embarrassed that I sent a coworker there for help and she was turned down by Crystal simply because she was black. She let me know that she first went to the Care Help store accidently while trying to find the assistance building, and everyone looked at her as if the door said whites only. She is a very sweet girl and if i could give her the help she needed i would. For days she ran around getting what they asked for, and they just kept making more excuses and things they claim they needed. Purposely looking for SOME kind of excuse not to help her. They overlooked all of the small transactions and pointed out the time she helped her brother with a rental car that HE and HIS WIFE paid for. Crystal said "but your car was broken so that was you" and she laughed. Remind you, she was struck twice in the head and had a concussion and that's the reason she wasn't working. They asked for bank statements on months that she paid out of her own pocket for that had NOTHING to do with the months she missed. Thanks to Crystal, she is now losing her home and custody of her daughter to an abusive father. I was next to her when they spoke and when she informed Crystal of this, she just laughed loudly and told her "I don't know what to tell you, try Catholic Charities".. she said that because the workers there are mainly black and Latino. If you're a person of color, stay away please! I feel bad for recommending them.

This is not a place for people who are in need or poor or have a very limited budget. They price their items was too high. I couldn't afford second hand pots and pans. Something is wrong with that. The items were too pricey and the jewelry was priced like it was being sold at Riffs. They need to decide if they are a charitable location or a second hand boutique.

Care help is the best place to shop the atmosphere is great the people are very friendly, the prices are reasonable and they help a lot of needy people that are less fortunate than most people are.I highly recommend Care Help because they always reach out to the community
