0 star if I could put here!
Terrible working environment, the most unprofessional inefficient unhelpful staffs ever see .
No one ever answered my calls that I have been calling here a week and every time is over 30 minutes.
I never heard a phone rings while I waiting in the office over 30 minutes and forced to be listening they chatting there lunch. I suspect they turn of the phone that on one can reach out to them- this is the exact time I called her every day. It’s not 11:30 am yet!
——FYI: looking at all the reviews, so sad that there are so many people would have to take a position to help people for real. But this place just only use this kind of staffs. Oh my dear Lord .

If I could give zero stars I would. The whole process is horrible. They do not care nor do they even try to give you some assistance or act like they care just a tad. My case worker name SLYVIA has a horrible attitude. Not sure why she decided to work in the public assistance field and she hates talking to or actually helping people. I applied back in June freshly located to Tarrant County in May. She decided to deny me due to she could not verify I have been with my employer. Although I’ve been with them since 2019. The address where I live now are on my check stubs as well. I uploaded my w2, an employee verification letter and she STILL wanted a letter from my employer stating I’m employed with them and I moved to Texas in May. My HR department would not due that due to we use the 3rd party verification system which was the information I uploaded by the way. And she said it wasn’t sufficient. Slyvia keeps saying the Q&A department denied it but I’m sure it was her. She’s not friendly, her tone is always short and rude. She rushes you off the phone and will mail out a letter without even giving just a simple phone call to inform you on what you may need. The hold times are at least 2 hours! And they need more information as if you’re buying a house from them! I’ve never seen such tacky drawn out processes for child care assistance for people who are TRYING to go to school and make a living and put their children in daycare. Slyvia needs empathy training and the whole system needs to be revamped. They added a check your status link that does not even work so you have no choice but to call and hold for three hours at a time. I would not recommend this assistance to anyone.

Unfortunately, If I could give zero stars I would. I have been trying to get assistance for almost three months now. I sent in the documentation required in July. Since then I have called multiple times for hours at a time, the 2 times I was able to reach anyone I was told that 1) I would be transferred to my case manager(call disconnected) 2) I was told that an urgent request would be put in for my case manager to call me since it had been over a month and I had not heard anything. 2 months went by (after several attempts to reach them) before I was called back and I was at work and unable to answer. Of course they would call me right before they closed. I called back 2 min after I missed the call and the automated system said they closed. Then the next week I get a letter saying I am not eligible for assistance because I am "missing documents" which in reality I was not. It really sucks because I really need the assistance for my daughter and its hard to get to their office before they close due to work.
