Dr. April has been fantastic for me and my family. Her and her staff are always courteous, respectful, and caring. They go out of their way to ensure my mental well being. We are always grateful for her efforts.

TLDR; I’d recommend avoiding April Burges (or Candi Buttke) and only using this facility as a last resort. The low reviews here speak for themselves. WI stopped going here it saved my life. I spent over a year with April Burges, constantly gaslighting my issues into not being real. During one appointment, she actually yelled at me for trying to collaborate (caused a panic attack, she then called me after to see her again same day, apologised and told me virtual appointments can be “cold”, but this kinda traumatised me). She said she thought I was the “typical” case of prescribing a SSRI. Months later, she accused me of having a personality disorder because I failed 4 different meds (treatment-resistant depression is a thing). She said she didn’t think they’ll ever be a med to “cure me”. That was when I finally switched to a new place. When I started seeing a new psychiatrist they immediately knew what to do, offered support, and appreciated collaboration. Candi Buttke was another psychiatrist I would avoid. She prescribed me a medication known to cause emotional numbness when that was my primary issue and was genuinely rude throughout the appointment. Onto the good- Marty Kerkes was a phenomenal therapist though until my insurance stopped accepting him, and Lianne Maupin was like an angel to me until she stopped going here. It’s just the bad outweigh the good when these people are suppose to help you, not make things worse. This is my first 1 star review as I’ve never encountered any issues with a medical professional, yet I had all 2 come from the same place. It made me feel like I was the problem, until I switched to another provider and saw how much differently I got treated. Don’t use this as a warning not to go here if you don’t have insurance, rather to try and avoid those 2 APRNs.

I wanted to take the time to personally thank you Bridgeway CAT team for helping my daughter. We have seen multiple therapist but it wasn’t until the CAT team took her under that change really began. From the moment they spoke to her I could tell they really cared. Also Candy took no time in figuring out exactly what my daughter needed. I can’t put into words my gratitude for the change and hope our family has because of them. If I could give 100 stars it wouldn’t be enough.
