Two stars for location and intentions to help low income individuals. I have yet to receive any assistance from Bread for the City nor their participating partners first hand so I can not rate for my experience. I have on a number of occasions (mid 2024 to early 2025) attempted to seek assistance but that did not go well. I spoke with a Ms Ria T-Washington about having her organization within Bread for the City come into our neighborhood community center to speak with tenants on the various variety of assistance available to them. Several meetings were created and several meetings were cancelled by Ms Ria T-Washington. All cancelled the day before the meeting via email and all cancelled due to unforseen events by Ms. T-Washington. After a while I simply stopped trying.

I came here to translate for a friend who had cancer years ago and cannot seem to be able to get medical insurance and doesn't qualify for Medicaid. The doctors and all employers were nice and very helpful.
Thank you all!
