I went to the the Bethlehem house and I don't recommend it is so disorganized they do not know what they are doing. They let people steal without consequences. After they kicked me out they told me I could not pack my things or go get a bag for the night they kicked me out around 8 at night with shorts in winter and a tank top and slipper they wouldn't even allow me to go back and grab my shoes. After 48 hrs per policy they have to give your things I went through multiple people and complaints to get my belongings back just for them to steal the things I bought before even coming there with my own money. I left states to come to this program and the staff are so unprofessional they talk about the women yes the staff because I previously used marijuana for over three years they said as long as my levels were going down and they lied about that I asked for further drug testing to prove my case and they refused. I couldn't even get my medication in time from these people there's a lot of favoritism there as well and staff have also admitted this. Not only did they steal my belongings but they also stole food from my fridge. When I got my belongings there were things that weren't even mine sent back to me I wear large XL and I got size small clothes mind you I am pregnant clearly this stuff is not mine. They took my. Victoria's secret perfume clothes lotion hygiene products and switches things out. These people are not professional at all. I spent over 400 dollars on my own things before moved in just for them to steal it and kick me out. I had a family friend pass away while I was there and because I was grieving they said I was too emotional and out of control and they wanted me to be seen I went and saw two psychiatrist that told me I was fine ans it was natural I wasenr over reactinf or overly emotional. They do not have case management and are not trauma informed like they say they are. Mary does not know how to run that place staff is no empathetic to a pregnant woman's needs who steals food and a pregnant woman's belongings. Highly do not recommend just be careful. Oh and also the baby stuff they do give you they will not send it back with you it's not yours to keep they took back the baby clothes they gave me not only that but they wouldn't let me pack my own things so they could take and steal from a homeless pregnant woman when other women left they were able to pack their own belongings so I also Believe there is discrimination there as well.

I've heard nothing but amazing things about this place and once I was told about it by a family member I felt like God had answered my prayers. But unfortunately it's been a month and a half I've called emailed and put in multiple online requests through their website and haven't heard anything back although their website says they respond within 48 hours. I'm in desperate need of help, I'm high risk and 7 months with a soon to be 18 month old and 9 year old but it seems I hit another dead end with a program that seems to work miracles for everyone else. 😢

I hope you all can sleep with yourself at night, because nobody in the community would support you if they saw what really happens behind closed doors. The things you do to people in need are not as holy as the things you like to preach about. The same people that I cooked for and shared meals with ended up being the same people who tried to strip me of everything that my daughter and I owned. They are cowards who locked me out, tried to force me into a corner and sign paperwork, then called the police because I was standing my ground and advocating for myself. It's clear to me that there is favoritism and individualized discrimination going on here. If you are looking into becoming a resident, don't be surprised when you become their next target and they try to cover up their wrong doings. Staff will smile in your face then spit out preconceived ideas of who they THINK you are. I will never conform into the person you THINK I am, I refuse to give you the reaction and humiliation that you are looking for. God doesn't like ugly spirited people! And most importantly, I believe in karma.
