Beacon of Hope Shelter

This place saved my ass after my boss Deck let me go for being diagnosed as a diabetic. Was dumped off in motel to defend for myself. The kept my last paycheck so I couldn't afford to get home. This place gave me a roof over my head good food to eat. Thanks again Beacon! Update 9/8/25.....still at the Beacon, still working on getting home. But they take good care of people and reset you values when I was lost. My dog passed away while was here. But moving on. This weeks special. 9/18/25 still at the Beacon, had sloppy Joe's and salad tonight, chased it with carrot cake🤗 just found out I have money coming to get me home. 10/14/25. Got my bus ticket heading home thanks again guys. Take care.

The beacon of hope is exactly what the name says. I came in and could he e failed a UA but because of their genoricty they let me in anyway. The beacon is an incredible place for men of all ages who need a place to go to better then self's and get back on their feet. It's the best thing that has ever happened to me for more then one reason. But the main. Thing is it helped me strengthen my religious beliefs and faith. If it wasnt for the beacon I'd never be over a year clean to day so thank you steve roe and Eric for everything that you've done for me and everyone else in the community

After a series of events, spiritually, biologically and chemically induced, I was brought to my knees once again only this time to find a Spiritual safety net in place. The community here has done well to support this ministry. The people involved are nothing special. That's what makes it so effective. Annointed by God they go about their days looking to Him. Expecting the miraculous. GOD provides! Everyday is a miraculous event. Steve and Eric planted the seed. Many have aided in helping it grow. But GOD gives the increase far abundantly above all we could ask or think.
