Unique and historical but very short ride. This is a true icon of downtown LA! However, it is also very short in distance and a pretty bumpy ride. The price is very cheap for one dollar for one way. It was bumpy and made some scary noise when it hits the junction. There is a stair way next to it, so you can choose to climb up in stairs or walk down in stairs. It is very unique and historical with the beautiful reddish color. It is certainly worthy of trying!

Love this railway. It's so unique and a must see when you are in LA. Perfect place to take someone on a date. A scene in the movie La La Land was filmed there. The ticket is $1 dollar each way. If you have a tap card, it's 50 cents. However, it doesn't work with the tap card day pass though.

Something curious in LA Downtown! Take the time and do it. It is in front of the principal entrance of the Central Market. Take the monorail and in the top you will pay $1. In a seconds you will be in between some high buildings and the view is nice! In the top you can find a Starbucks and little tables for enjoy a delicious drink. Please, cross to the Gran Ave and walk in. 😉
