I search online for legal advice. I found them hoping to try and have free legal advise for a divorce case. I just had a minor blockage on my divorce. I was happy to hear that they provide 30 min of FREE FAMILY LAW ASSISTANT as what is mentioned on their website. By the time their initial agent called me to take down some information before the call with a lawyer, I asked her a question if how long can we stay on the line with a lawyer to seek legal advice, she then mention they can stay with you up to 1 hour to listen to your issue and provide you with LEGAL ADVICE. Once I receive a call from the lawyer I was hoping to get a free legal advice but then I was shocked that they instead offered me to be their client for a fee of $450 and not once we discussed my case. I was hesitant to go since the amount they are asking was huge and they did not answer any of my question. They always keep on pushing me and they keep on saying "you need to be our client before we give you an advise. You need to pay a one time fee $450 before doing so". After the call, I went straight to their reviews here and was really disappointed that a lot of people were not satisfied and happy with their services. Including the reviews I read in Yelp.

I do post warning: I did at first give them a 4 star rating. I think their 4 star rating is based off of people who (like me) gave a review right after their first calls. I do now believe they are a SCAM. I paid and knew that I was going to be unrepresented and have to do my own paperwork, but was getting legal advice. I had to wait a month for an attorney to call me. I thought they were going to explain to me where I needed to go and how to start the paperwork. Instead she asked me what I wanted and typed it down, and didn't ask me questions or details about case. The biggest red flags are that she made 2 cases out of 1 and I know a judge is not going to separate my boys like that. The other one is that she did not know my timeliness of when I was going to be able to submit papers. I was told someone would call me later to explain that. When he called he just confirmed spelling of everything than advice it would be 14days before I would ger another call from attorney??? I have had 3 attorneys in the last 10years and it never went like this. I should've been able to submit my paper to Modify custody already and not be waiting another 10 days. Spend the money, talk to a person directly, or figure it out on your own. I don't recommend this route.

This place JUST counsels nothing more! IF THEY GET BACK YOU! I was lied to and told lots of things that they would do and that they would represent me if absolutely needed i even verified this with the intake person. The intake person is great at calming your fears. And getting you hooked.However when continuing with the other reps they mentioned that they don't. Also they do not file paperwork or assist. I made the initial payment and then my account was stopped by my bank and wouldn't let another payment go through. Thank goodness! When I called them back to go over what they ACTUALLY offered I was informed nothing I was promised from the person from in take is actually offered. I told the rep. I wanted to cancel and wanted a refund for service not rendered and wanted a recorded guarantee that they would not continue to take money out of my account. She said the payment is nonrefundable and she said all her supervisors were in a meeting and HUNG UP ON ME!. And now they won't take my call or answer my texts. The automated system says they are closed. It's hours before they close. The other reviews are correct. They pray on the hard working people in desperate situations. No one has tried to remedy this situation. The actually lied to me and scammed money out of me and thousands of others. If all you do is counsel just say that! Don't make all these promises then get payment then go back on your word. I made payment BEFORE they told me they weren't going to actually help me.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. We spoke to a “lawyer” told him we needed a lawyer to be represented in court. If this was a real company he would have told us right then and there he couldn’t represent us and that they only give advice. In the fine print it says they only give advice. Also as soon as you pay they send a link to make a review and that’s how they’ve been getting away with this. My husband had court and no one answered the phone and they can see your number and say you have to call from your own phone. That’s how they are able to ignore you when you need help or try to contact them. Please don’t use them and we need to keep giving bad reviews because they don’t deserve a 4 star rating. They need to go down to 0. I’m going to report to the better business bureau and department of labor.

The sales man that I initially spoke with made everything sound so simple and easy. Now that I'm in the process they are telling me there's extra fees and I'll have to file documents my self.. I can never get an straight answer, I have to be calling different departments. I have to wait 2 weeks to speak with a lawyer then another week to be able to speak with the billing department that's going to tell me how much more I need to pay for them to help me with a case that's so simple and easy..... I defiantly do not recommend. They sweet talk you into hiring them and make it sound like your getting a deal by paying one time and being able to come back to consult a whole year for "free" but its defiantly NOT worth it. You can never speak to a lawyer directly and you have to wait weeks to finally speak with a lawyer. Save your money and hire an actual attorney instead.
