One year ago today, Alpha Omega Freedom Ministries took myself and my baby, who was 17 months old, to their shelter, Hannah House. They, I truly believe, saved our lives. We would have been homeless and on the street after leaving my abuser and having no dime to our names. They helped me through Bible Study, Parenting Class, Inner Healing, and a case plan to help me obtain daycare through the local career center and to, also, obtain gainful employment. I have been working the same job for 9 months as of tomorrow and I have an apartment of my own now as well due to their assistance and guidance. I am eternally grateful to the ministry as a whole and am looking forward to owning my very first vehicle because they even helped me to save up for one. Every struggle has been worth it because they helped hold our hand. My daughter was diagnosed with delays and they just helped us keep moving forward. Thank you all so very much for everything you have done for us ❤️

As someone who was formerly on staff overseeing the accounting, I can personally attest to the dedication, accountability and selflessness of the staff. The Director and many of the staff who work there tirelessly are not paid, but they give of their time, energy and sometimes their own personal funds to meet the needs of the ministry. AOFM operates on funding from private and corporate donations, companies, foundations and grants. Because of that they must adhere to very strict financial guidelines. AOFM networks with other agencies and organizations to bring in the necessary things that are needed to provide a clean, safe environment for battered women and children. I would (and have) recommend AOFM as a loving, caring, compassionate ministry who operates sometimes on a shoestring with the faith that God will provide. And He does.

This ministry is very CARING. They work hard to help others. The main staff are not paid, and actually pay into the ministry to keep things funded, so they can run the Domestic Violence shelter for women and their children. The need is so great ! I'm glad they are filling a needed function.

This place is wonderful! Caring staff, superb teachings and outstanding empathy from administration regardless of your situation. I highly recommend this facility and wish I could send everyone I know on a retreat there, even if only for a few weeks! Hannah's House has a goal of changing lives and they do it very well if you let them!
