I called looking for a therapist. The receptionist was very helpful. She told me it would take up to 3 days to get a call back. Someone finally called on a Sunday night about 8:30 pm. Didn't leave a message or try to call me back. I called again about Tuesday and spoke to a receptionist. She transfered me over to who called me on Sunday. I left a message and no one called me back. I did find a therapist with another office. It's very unprofessional. I know offices are very understaffed and over worked. A 5 minute phone call to say they were or weren't taking new patients would have been nice.

The Jewish Family Service, help me all time, emocional and Support after my Surgery, help to be stringe in all Times and help me provider the Keys for leaving the past and finding how, I acepting the present.

So I never actually used this companies services however I was in their parking lot looking for an address which I could not find. While stopped in their parking lot using a nice shade tree as cover while I got my sh.T together my phone battery died on me. It was only minutes later a lady happen to be out side the building who asked me if I needed anything at which time I explained my dilemma. She was very kind and offered to lend me her phone so that I could call company I was originally looking to locate. We talked for a little, her name was Denise and she was an accountant for the company. Because of Denise I was able to find my destination and move on with my life. It’s people like her that this world needs more of.

The staff associated with this organization are nice and professional. However, if you have more than one insurance company you need for them to bill, they will not bill them, even if it's Medicare. I was told it's their policy NOT to bill a secondary insurance. So I now have over $240 I have been unable to recover from my secondary insurance due to their "POLICY".

I gave my credit card information to Alpert Jewish Family Services for a one time charge. They kept my credit card information on file. I never agreed to that. And when my daughter missed an appointment they charged me. I complained to the therapist. Then my daughter missed another appointment. I specifically told them not to use my card again. That we would need to make payment arrangements. Then Jean from account receivables incessantly called me while I was at work. I was not able to take her call. I'm a nurse and cannot answer calls while I’m with patients. I tried calling her back the next day. However she did not leave a message with her name or extension. So when I called the receptionist did not seem to know who to transfer me to. I did not think this is such a big company with so many accounts receivable departments. I said it was regarding money owed. So I figured she would call again since she called me so many times in one day. She did not. Then my account got charged. This is illegal people. I never gave them permission to keep my card information on file in the first place. And I specifically said not to charge after the first illegal charge. When I spoke to Jean today she admitted she knew I specifically said not to charge my card but that she did it because I didn’t call her back!!!!! Is this for real????
