If only this organization were better able to weed out the women who come in there and lie to the Hope Center staff and abuse the system. I know it's happening for a fact, and it is so sad. Women who do that are also abusing the poor people who actually need this service. I say people because women are not the only people who are beaten; men are too, but most of them are silent about it because society doesn't treat men who are beaten the same way. It is literally heartbreaking, and I hope you can turn that around someday soon.

Said that they would have room for me and my children and then when we got there they said we can’t come in
