Absolutely the best! They really make sure that these sweet animals go to a good home. Mercedes has been looked over quite a bit. But these absolutely compassionate caring people fought for her to find a good home. They made sure Mercedes was a fit for us and vice versa. They really care about the animals there. You can tell by how the dogs and cats are kept. Very clean and know these guys like a child. Perfect place to adopt. Best experience I have had in a long time. Very honest and transparent.

Over 10 years ago they helped me become a mom. My husband and I chose AAI because we wanted an open adoption and an organization that prioritizes both birth mothers and potential birth mothers. We didn't expect an easy process, but we found such openly caring people that I remain in contact with some to this day. As a parent by adoption I cannot recommend them more.

UPDATE: We are parents!! We joined the waiting list on April 11, 2024 and 2 months later, June 11, 2024, our baby boy was born and we were chosen as his forever home. These last 2 1/2 months since bringing our son home have been a life-long dream come true. Adoption Advocates has been guiding us every step of the way through being matched, placement, establishing a relationship with our son's birth mom, and continue to support us in parenthood. We meet once a month with an AAI social worker and a group of other local adoptive parents and their babies. We get guidance & tips and are building lifelong friendships with a group of fellow adoptive parents. We are already planning play dates & special occasion get-togethers and excited that our babies will grow up knowing a group of other adoptive kids just like them. We are also comforted in witnessing how well they have supported our son's birth mom through the entire experience. They have always been phonecall or text away for any question or concern that comes up. When my husband and I began our journey to adopt we spent months researching all avenues for adoption, what to LOOK for and what to look OUT for when choosing an agency. We vetted countless agencies and AAI was our clear choice. Many agencies we looked into felt more like a profit machine than an organization built on compassion and care like AAI. The main things that made us trust AAI to guide us through one of the most life changing journeys we’ve embark on was not just how well they take care of their adopting families but how well they nurture, comfort, and guide expectant moms from the moment they consider an adoption plan through delivery and well beyond. They provide thorough training on how to prepare for a baby and to be the best parents to your adopted child through all stages of their growth & development. We got to meet dozens of adoptive parents and find out first hand what to expect, the joys, common pitfalls, and common misconceptions of open adoption. We also met dozens of birth parents and got to hear touching stories of their decisions to choose adoption for their babies and gained an understanding of open adoption from their perspective. We are currently waiting to adopt (will update this review once we do!) and have full faith that, with AA guiding us every step of the way, the baby that is meant for us will come into our lives at the exact right time.
