Apparently these people hold the keys to be able to file a PFA in Potter county. They refused to even allow me to go in front of a judge to file a PFA against my rapist even when I have an ongoing criminal case. They also provided me with a list of what I was told were free and reduced price lawyers for low-income individuals. Upon calling the lawyers, none of them were actually free or reduced price lawyers. I'm not sure where their funding comes from, but I wish it went to somewhere that wasn't just in the business of turning people away. I was nothing but pleasant with these people, but they were entirely unhelpful. Update: I called in to submit a complaint about this matter and the guy I spoke with (David) on the phone blamed me for not advocating for myself enough and was talking over me. This place should truly be shut down and everybody fired.

Pa Coalition Against Domestic Violence funds this place along with other organizations. This is the typical below standard place that says it offers solutions and or help but actually offers nothing. They talk the talk but fall way short of walking the walk. The funds are going back into their pockets. The lack of professional integrity and true care to assist victims of violence is lost here. Need help get out of PA.
