They treated us with the worst hospitality ever and even refused to give us our stuff even after we left. Safe to say find another place to stay.

I have been with New Leaf for 10 years! The medical team great! Therapy side not at all. I have had three different therapist in the past six months. My therapist was late for our first meeting. And now it’s been 20 min I am waiting for her to join our second session.

I called the West Valley location to schedule an appointment as a new patient. I was inquiring about mental health services, if they had inpatient options, if they accepted insurance. Without asking any questions on why I was seeking treatment or what type of treatment would be best, the lady who I spoke with told me insurance would only cover medications and I'd be better off seeking therapy services directly through my insurance provider.
I've been in counseling for over 5 months and have still been struggling with severe depression and trauma related to domestic violence. In past years I have worked with A New Leaf as a donor, financially and with clothing and necessities. They were my first choice to seek additional help related to DV because I'm familiar with their work. Inquiring about their services on a personal level was met with extreme disappointment and a lack of interest and empathy by the intake staff. It's unfortunate as a woman seeking help to be so easily dismissed by the intake staff.
