I had a horrible experience with this company. Cecilia my housing manager did not make first contact. When I reached out, she answered the phone with a ya? She was eating her lunch on the phone. When we met in person, she trash talked her company. I was living in a bus in 104 degree weather experiencing heat exhaustion. She promised for weeks to have a company help with a motel. when I discovered the motel was infested with roaches I told her I had a bug phobia and she told the company helping with motel I refused help. When I had a very important medical appointment this lady yelled at me to cancel and come tour an apartment that had already been set aside for me. When I called the company to voice my complaint, Cecilia started being revenge full. She convinced me not to take 1000 of furniture because she told me she could get a voucher for 2000 then she later asked what voucher when I enquired about furniture. She gave us 200 to Amazon for a desk instead. when she came to do a home visit, she stood with her back to me the whole time. She ended my 24 month program 1 month early and then her boss gave me an emergency month which technically was the month I was already supposed to be there so there was no extra month. Then, I had a dv situation, I didn't feel safe, my life was threatened Cecilia told me if I found another apartment in 5 days to take my voucher I could move otherwise I would have to be homeless in my bus again in 100 degree weather. There was no dv help! Caafa filled out and submitted my bo protection order wrong. This company did not help in my case at all. they gave me 100 walmart cards to drive to Washington when I feared for my life

I started my son with a new leaf in 2017 until this year. I believed my son was being abused in his mother's care and needed it documented. My child was pretty normal except for the issues with going back to his mom's house. Shortly after starting a new leaf he was temporarily removed from me and put with his mother. During the next 2 and a half years my son became suicidal and had multiple suicide attempts. After getting my son back 50/50 time in late 2019 a few months later in February of 2020 my son became suicidal again at his mother's house. DCS got involved & in an meeting with a new leaf staff and therapist they allowed my son to be put back with his abusive mother and did nothing to stop it. A new leaf does not want your children to get better!! They want the money from the state and that is all they care about or else my son would have never become suicidal and they would have stopped it from happening, but they didn't. They profit from your misery do not go to this facility or any of them.
